    Ravi Kumar Singh- Journey towards Health and Fitness 2014, I was detected with Hypothyroidism with borderline cholesterol, and was weighing 104 Kg; I had all the reason to worry… Throughout I was athletic, national level football player (Played Dilip Trophy, represented Bihar from Ranchi team and later on Delhi University)… still I developed hypothyroidism. I did not give up to the condition, kept doing some or the other physical work, very regular to gym; was hovering around 93-95 kgs, and was continued with the medication until 2021 February, when there was second wave of Covid-19 and gyms were closed and again I started gaining the weight… now I was at 97Kgs… I thought, must do something, otherwise it will be very difficult for me, so I started morning walk; people were saying don’t go out, its very scary there is covid wave… I thought if I don’t do anything anyway I am killing myself… so I continued.  Sandhya Chaudhary (Sandy) - Fat to Fit This is the journey of my passion called Running. Here I got a chance to share my running experience including barrier breaking, self- motivating, inspiring others and lot more things I learned, took a step and moved ahead to achieve my goals in my running tenure. I believe that the hard days are what make you stronger.  I am an IT stat programmer by profession, Mother of 2 (daughters) and add-on is enthusiastic about running. My running journey started in 2019 after the 1st postpartum (2016). In Initial months of postpartum period around 6-7 months I had my normal body check-up, which is usually do every year, I got my report where the fat level was remarkably high, bad cholesterol was high, showing cardiac risk, obesity etc. due to this I was suffering from severe acidity and headache (migraine). Kishan Vyas ,  the Bureaucrat ex-president of ADR . :😊 Kishan has always been a sports person . During his school & college days he was actively involved in swimming , athletics and tennis. Then sports took a back seat as he was preparing for the Civil Services. However , once he cleared the UPSC he renewed his love for sports and was the Sports Secretary at The National Academy Of Direct Taxes .  Once in the field the Bureaucratic duties took over and he was left with no time for sports . But The sports person in him was restless . One fine morning he just decided to take out whatever time possible from his busy work schedule and started Running . This was in 2011 .Initially he ran just a few kms to take care of his health n just stay fit.  However very soon the Running fever got over him and he ran his first half Marathon in TMM 2011.   The Very Small Running Singh ! By Heart  The Running Singh urf Ashish started his running in 2018 as a fight against his pancreatitis. He succumbed to the pancreas surgery in 2018 whose recovery as informed by the doctor would take six long months  but the salesman was agitated just in a fortnight and took up the sword against the illness and successfully got back on his legs with the wife’s shoulder and parents blessings in 2 months . Slowly he started running in his campus for mostly rehab purpose and one fine day met his dearest friend Ritesh and Raja on the road while doing so. Ritesh during a light heart talk motivated Mr Singh to better run on roads and that’s how they did there first 10km event . To maintain his consistency and not go back to his previous lifestyle he joined ADR in 2019 to meet Dada and the amazing Prahladnagar runners. And like said The Rajput did his first ultra with Pinkathon to Pavagadh (160km)which is even before the actual norm of FM ....

 Nipa - The watching over 9 runner Nipa is an excellent music teacher , a karate champion and a mother to two wonderful lads with one already in adulthood and the second one throwing around teenage glow ! The pandemic took over her music academy and she had to turn into a full time home maker and mentor to the family.  The lacunae that the pandemic caused was filled by her desire to hit the roads and run . Her friend already running few miles inspired Nipa to start her running journey. And then every runner is caught in the ADR angel circle which motivates them on the journey ahead. Soon after joining the group Nipa ran Adani night marathon and did her 24 kms with her heart full of joy , gradually she started catching up with the drive-in ADR group to keep her tempo motivated.    Vicky - The Runner Donor  Mr. Maninder Singh Sidhu , dearly known as Vicky started his running journey in  2016  after serving to a young handsome son as a single parent. Like any other Human he thought it’s time now that he will run out all the build of raising the kid single handedly and achieve better health goals in life. But destiny had its own plan , in 2018 the devastating news of his brother in law(BIL)needing a liver transplant shattered the family. The brother to his dearest sister that Maninder is, couldn’t stop and braved to step up and donate his Liver (65%) for his bil, brave because he wasn’t even aware at the time of decision making that liver can regenerate. The rock , endured all the transplant pain which troubled him for quite few months and slowly the runner in him started tapping him to run again, he sushed this inner voice quite few times only to let it dominate and start a tiny weeny 7 kms and than 10 kms and than few countable half mar...
